The Barnstable Probate and Family Court Registry office will be undergoing renovations and will temporarily move to the space currently occupied by the Probation Department for several months while the renovations take place in the Registry Office. The Probation Department will be moving to the lower level of the building as of Friday, February 21, 2025.
The Registry Office will have limited power on Friday, February 21, 2025 so it is necessary to close.
However, we will accept walk in emergency matters only on that date.
As of Monday, February 24, 2025, the Registry Office will be open and working out of the current Probation space on a temporary basis while renovations take place.
