Abuse Prevention Orders are heard on an emergency basis as needed.  The  Court is open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm for walk-ins.  There are numerous papers that are filled out for Abuse Prevention Petitions.  As such, we generally ask that you come before 4:00 pm. 

If you wish to file an Abuse Prevention Petition, and the Court is not open, you should  go to your local  police department.  There is always an emergency Judge on-call, after hours.  

Forms to be filed under Abuse Prevention are multi-page forms and as such are not available to date.  These forms will need to be filled out at the Court.
